I would rename the site to a more general name like:  m43forum,oly43world.... Something in that genre.  Depending what you want to do.

Nah.  I like the name.  Classics always stick.

Honestly, stop asking me to buy Tapatalk.  I hate clicking no every time I use the site on my phone.  :)

Other than that, it is a forum... I'm not sure what more I expect.  It is a helpful and wonderful small community.  That is the best thing you can ask for.

Im gonna ask for a tough one, impossible i  think. Is it possible to be able to post the images from the gallery to the topics like flickr? Sometimes I want the whole click to see the detail thing but sometimes i just wanna post a big, unclickable photo like when you do the flicker thing
More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

That's Flickr's issue, not ours. Unfortunately when they redesigned their photo page they made that much more difficult to do.

I think I'm going to uninstall the Tapatalk interface, it seems to be causing more trouble than it's worth.

Anything else?

I don't know. Maybe I should buy it. Haha. Maybe then I wouldn't complain about it.

I'd like to see "Show all unread posts" (http://e-p1.net/unread/?all;start=0) as a direct link in the top right corner, under "Show new replies to your posts". I use that feature a lot. It would also be great to have a "Show all your posts" link that displayed all topics I've posted in, including ones I've already read.

It will still pop up evey time you load a page on your iPad of phone.
They put in a too aggressive usage code, and no code to stop the pop ups when buy it and install it.

Sent from my iPad 8)

Sample:
It poped up after I hit "post", and after I hit "modify" to add this line. And will pop up after I post to add this sample of the how annoying it is.
So, a total of 4 pop ups to use Tapatalk just to read, post, and modify this reply.

How about a "Your Posts" or "My Threads" search, it will display posts that where STARTED by you only. This could help in locating your old posts that you want to update with new photo's.

A section for editing help. You post your photo, ask for people to take a whack at it, then the various results are posted and voted on with the winning editor describing their process.

People with bad photos win because they get their photo fixed.
People who don't know how to edit win because they get to read the description of how to make fixes (also they can download the original and try to mimic the edits).
People who do the editing win by sharpening their editing skills in many different situations AND they get recognition online.

Although I could see it getting flooded with submissions... Could place a restriction on uploading photos, something like, must edit at least one other photo before uploading your own.

Just a thought.

Many of these will be included in the menu system redesign, making it much easier to access many things. That improvement will take some code learning on my part though.

I could add that board, but I get the feeling it won't be used. I can title it "Fix my photo" and see how it goes.

My bright idea is that everyone that posts a photo write which camera and lens they did use to take it.

How about that? :)
Best wishes to you all!

That would be awesome!

There have been many times I've been thinking about what equipment he/she did use to get the wonderful result.

Addition: I don't know if I did use the right grammar, but you understand what I mean :)

Just a tip in the meantime: a lot of people (including myself) post pics from Flickr, and there you can view the EXIF data by clicking the camera model name in the info text to the right of the photo.

Alright so far we've got the following:

- Get rid of Tapatalk
- Redesign the menu to put more easy access to unread posts/other stuff
- Fix my photo board
- EXIF on photos
- Possible Flickr gallery integration (unlikely)

Anything else?

Tapatalk just had a major bug fix update, I'll get back a report if annoying pop-ups was addressed for paid users.
