Every once in a while I like to send out these announcements to get members to respond and let us know how things are going for them with their gear and with the forum. So let us know how you have been lately!

Also, all forum speed issues have been fixed so it won't take days to load now.

Not so ok, at the moment, I dropped my Canon EOS 50 (broken lens hood), but as far as I know, no real damage further. My Olympus E-520 has more severe damage, the glass in front of the sensor is broken in two and the lcd in the viewfinder shows all digits and signs. Damn, why didn't I wear them around my neck.

Gear-wise everything is fine, over here.
But it seems as if I will have to make my µFT comeback earlier than scheduled. Originally, I idn't want to buy my second µFT camera before their C-AF is on a par with - at least - top middle-class DSLRs.
But now, permanent back pains prevent me from taking my E-5 and the heavy-ish FT lenses out with me for my daily dog-walking and so, the E-PLite 3 will soon find its way into my bag. This time, however, I don't want to pay the early-adopter price as I did when it came to the G1 and the E-5 and therefore, it may take another two months or so.

I'm standing pat now that I have all the lenses and flashes I want for my E-P1. Excited to receive my "Camera Capture Clip" in time for my big Europe trip in a couple of weeks! (Won't have the dangly-camera-around-the-neck-tourist-look.  :))

All is good, 90% done with the car show images, been sharing my time with Alex Coghe's new website, a lot of great images, and it looks like he has found a nitch to fill.

My Son is enjoying his new school, and will be the Ribbon Cutter at the Grand Opening of the school with our Mayor present tomorrow (9-2-2011)

Just bought the 45mm 1.8, picked up a tilt shift Kipon adapter for my FD lenses, picked up a Lowepro Flipside 300 bag cheap on ebay, been using that... hitting up an abandoned hospital in NY tomorrow... wedding in a few weeks... I check the forum multiple times a day.  It is almost pathetic.

All good with me, loving using my E-PL1, especially with my Legacy Lens collection.  Got a huge car show next week in the UK, so will be shooting video for the forum i am going with.  Looking forward to it as it is one of the biggest in the country.

I am finding i prefer making video over photos at the moment, saying that i shot a load of BMX stuff a couple of nights back, just my mates riding a new jump they had been building.  I was quite happy with the results, and the fact my E-PL1 will work as a decent Strobist rig. :D

Mostly good,  still enjoying my E-PL1 but wish I could afford some new lens though.

Recently set up an online shop on photobox to sell prints and to sell images through a stock library but not had much luck yet to get any accepted.

Ya I know, I posted that thread with the m42 Soviet lenses and then dissapeared. This is because of my job as a project manager which is taking all my time. I WILL be back once I get some time off to take some pics and then I will finally post some sample pictures from all those lenses.

Cheers All!
