Please donate!
« on: February 02, 2012, 01:16:21 PM »
I hate to ask for money. In this case though, I have to. Because of the poor quality of our current web hosting, I have repeatedly over the last few months had to spend hours trying to convince them that things on our forum were not causing the slowness that you've all experienced. They refused to believe me, so we are going to move to another much more reliable host. The problem is that it's going to cost a bit more, and since donations have been low in recent months, I've been having to pay for this website on my own. I'm a college student, so I don't have much of my own money, and the ads do help, but not enough to cover this new and increased fee each month.

So I please ask, even if it's just a dollar, it all helps.

Onward!

Thank you everyone.

lisandra, any amount you feel comfortable with donating will help immensely. Our new server will likely be $50 total a month, and ads only cover about 80% of that.

Set a monthly donation if you can. I'll be more than happy to donate a small amount on a monthly basis, may be what is left at the end of the year can be used as a competition prize.
If you like the forum, or if you received a helpful tip here, why not donate a dollar or two to help us pay for its hosting?

Speak up now, because tomorrow there might be nobody left to hear you!
