Hey there, my name is Darren and i live in the Devon Region of the UK. I just got myself an Oly E-PL1 to replace my Canon 400d, which had seen better days

. I was looking at the 60d, but as my camera tends to sit in the bottom of a rucksack whilst out riding my Mountain Bike, i thought something smaller and more compact would be better. After playing for 1/2an hour last night, i am hooked. The IQ is astounding and the biggest bonus for me, it works with my remote flash triggers, so i can carry on with my beloved Strobist work.

Also, i wanted something to capture video on as i attend a lot of car shows, so this is also an added benefit. I look forward to becoming a regular on here and if anyone has any hints and tips, i am always open to help. In the meantime i will add my website and flickr account if anyone wants a look, thanks a lot, Darren.

Welcome to the forum! I have always loved the E-PL1 myself, it's a great little camera.
