Community Guidelines
« on: January 11, 2012, 03:41:35 PM »
Here's a list of do's and dont's to refer to when considering proper behavior on the forum. These are not a set list of rules, only a set of guidelines for what is expected to be the norm on E-P1.net.

DO HAVE FUN

We want you to experience the forum to the fullest. We want you to start new threads every chance you get, and post new ideas in response to them. The forum is what the users make of it, and otherwise is an empty shell, so make it what you want it to be.

DO PLAY NICE

Remember to be polite and respectful to other members. Nobody likes a bully, and it is incredibly easy to respectfully disagree with other members in topics or elsewhere without calling them names. We expect you to act like adults here.

With every list of do's, there unfortunately have to be a list of dont's. So here's the deal, we like to give second chances here, and we will give members every chance to correct any misbehavior. The don't list is something that we don't like to see members doing, and we will punish members according to the severity of their dont's. So don't make us, and have fun.

DON'T SPAM THE FORUM

We love to see your ideas, we just don't want to see them in multiple posts repetitively for the sole purpose of pissing us off.

DON'T SPAM YOUR WEBSITE

Please don't constantly link us over to your website, making us click on it to see things you could have just as easily posted on the forum. Your website probably not that good anyways, so only link to it a few times and spare us the pain.

DON'T BE A BULLY

We don't like it when people go around the forum and try to insult others for the purpose of starting fights. The community of the forum is something you all create, so making it an undesirable place will only be unfortunate for you in the end if you do so.

DON'T BE THAT GUY

You know the guy. Don't be that guy.

DON'T STEAL PHOTOS

Every member has the capability to take amazing photos and upload them to the forum's galley or share them from other websites, so don't steal anyone else's. It's not very nice.

If you don't feel that you can abide by our Community Guidelines as outlined above, maybe E-P1.net isn't for you. We’ve crafted these guidelines to ensure that everyone within our community has the experience they want.
