where is a large version so we can examine it better. What were the settings? Or is it already in another thread?

I agree, he never replied before to when someone else asked what settings. Sometimes I think that picture is not taken from an E-P1 or it is processed, but congratulations nonetheless.

@ lorenski: "Examine it better"?  For what, - I thought this was a photo competition, not an examination competition.   ;)   Should info/no info of ´settings´ (exif, I guess) change the voters mind whether this photo is the better to win the competition, or not?  Well, me, I do not need exif data to decide (for myself) if a photo is good or not.

@ Helgen X: Now, I just might be somewhat naive and uneducated in this, - but please enlighten me on how you would be able to decide about what camera is used for shooting this photo. Would a larger version (more pixels) help you to decide about that?   " . . . or it is processed"?  Well, I thought it was allowed, - not to say necessary to ´process´ digitally taken photos, prior to sending/posting them for the competition.

For your info: My vote was for 3 other photos, but I believe this one (the winner) to be a worthy one.  About the validity of this photo to be in the competition, as per rules of it, I leave that to the ´organizers´ of the competition.  I did not send in a photo to compete, as I know there is so many forum members here that are much more clever photographers than what I can ever even hope to be.  Photography, for me, is not a competetive matter, - however, for those forum members (and I could note quite a few new members to the forum that seemingly just joined for the sake of the competition) who might enjoy that side of their hobby (or profession, if that's the case), had a good chance to participate and enjoy this fun ´photo olympics´.  :)

Wow, okay... first off, thank you all for participating.  I was the first to enter the previous competition (toys) and yet was the last to enter this one because all the entries already looked so dang good!  Talk about intimidating!  Hats off to everyone who entered a photo in the competition, and also thanks to everyone who voted (especially those who voted for mine)!  When Voyager said we had a clear leader, I have to admit that of the three photos I had it narrowed down to, mine was not among them!  I certainly hope that those who found the forum because of this competition will stick around and continue to help make this site a hands-down favorite!  Also, I wouldn't mind having more contests scattered throughout the year with smaller prizes... I understand the draw of a big award, but $5 or $10 would keep things very friendly I'd think.

@Luke and Rogerml  I have to say that I love the idea of making a book or calendar out of the entries, let me know when I can buy one!
@Paula  Nobody needs me to comment on all the entries, but your photo blew me away.  Thank you for sharing!
@Rogerml again... thank you for going to bat for the integrity of the contest.  You cleared the air on what I was struggling to find words to express, but I'll still give it a try as well.
@lorenski I'm an open book.  You can see the largest file I have uploaded.  Hopefully this link works http://www.flickr.com/photos/57688758@N02/5309755853/#sizes/l/in/photostream/
Also, here's the link to the exif data
http://www.flickr.com/photos/57688758@N02/5309755853/#meta/in/photostream
As far as taking the picture, I did pre-focus on them as they got ready to jump, then I took a step backward to force the focus on where they would be in the air (I'm used to using a narrow DOF aperture setting, so maybe the step wasn't really necessary).  That set, I just waited for them to jump!  As the EXIF says, I used the 20mm Panny, which is on my E-P1 a majority of the time.
I did use Lightroom, as I saw no rules against it.  I am certainly no computer magician, so I selected a favorite preset and then modified it a bit till I liked it.  You don't have to look closely at a large file to see that quite a bit of the background is blown way out... but it certainly captures a vibrant feel that I experienced at the wedding.  By the way, this was taken in Florida while we were there celebrating my Sister-in-Law's wedding.  She is the bride, and the boy is my son.  All post-processing was done long before the contest (sometime shortly after the wedding last summer).
@Helen X  I tried to reply to the last post of the entries, but posting was closed at that time.  I did reply to everyone who PM'd me.  Just the same, here are the Lightroom settings I used, and remember I applied a preset at first (wish I could remember which one so I could credit its author... sorry), so probably can't speak much to specifics...
BASIC SETTINGS

Believe it or not, no vignette was apparently added, so blame that on the 20mm!

Sorry so long winded... those of you who see my posts on here know this isn't like me.   :)  Again, congratulations to everyone who participated, and here's to next time!

Wish, wish, what just happened here!? I wish there was a way to describe the way you said something on the internet. I meant that in a "I can't believe that's an e-p1 (amazed and confused)" way. Also, I really wanted to know those settings because everything turned out too amazing in my opinion and I would have liked to see similar applied elsewhere. Also, I couldn't tell if pp or another (better) was used because the picture was just too damn perfect to tell because If I took such a good shot, I wouldn't thinkmy ep1 was capable aside from my own skill. Sorry I can't explain myself well, I drink a lot.

Hi, congrats to Gruu!  Also, sorry for being such a dork, but when I go to Gruu's site for exif data I still cannot see exif data..where to look?  Also again, how do I get the voting thread to view the vote results?

Thanks!
