My favorite lens is the Olympus 12-60mm F2.8-F4. I use it on my MFT cameras with an adapter. Its heavy but I use it because there is no other lens like it. I'm a semi-pro. I care about results and will gladly pay to get superior IQ. I use it so much that I would gladly have bought a 12-60mm MFT lens if it gave me true MFT performance, even with a 4-5 ounce weight reduction. The new 12-50mm lens release is more than disappointing. It tells me that Olympus is no longer interested in supplying equipment to serious photographers. After 30 years as a loyal Olympus user, I think its time for a change.

do not blame you. Although the rumors say a super announcement is coming these days.
More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...
