Acceptable? Now we can just wonder about the price.

Well, Now M4/3's will have some great pro quality lenses:

12/2, 20/1.7, 25/1.4, 45/1.8, 12-35/2.8, 35-100/2.8

It is a great start... 4 very useful fast primes for a working photographer, and 2 fast Zooms covering 12mm-100mm..

The 35-100mm would be perfect for me, but it's going to be ridiculously expensive.

If they're over $1,000, then that might be a problem.

the canon 70-200 is 2179$, the nikon is 2399$ I very doubtfully think the panny will cost that. I think theyll be 1300$ at the absolute most, and most likely 1199$. Heck, im willing to bet for an even lower price
More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

I would imagine in the $1500 range, maybe even more.

I will definitely save my pennies for the 35-100 if it comes in at $1100 or less. That type of lens (and including fast tele primes) is the only real hole in the m4/3 lineup.

I just heard something I hope its not true. The wide zoom will be released first, and the 35-100 a good month or two later

i used the 70mm 2.8 this saturday on the em5 and was pleased with the results....ive got all the pentax 110s fun to use fun to own and very good iq ,,,,
i also have the rarer pentax 110 20mm-40mm f 2,8 zoom which is  remarkably the same  size as the tiny 14- 42 mm oly kit zoom II thats a tiny miracle of a lens ....its shows how small a fast zoom for the m4\3 image circle can be
