We also know the EVF and LCD will both have a higher resolution than the current Panasonic GH1 ...ooo yeeah..
More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

Better ISO, a built-in actually usable EVF.....things are improving on the m4/3 front, aren't they?

According to one of our sources and the moderator from the french Chassimages forum the upcoming Panasonic GH2 will feature a high-resolution 1.56 milion dots EVF (electronic viewfinder). Very likely it will use the Epson Ultimicron
here's the link for the ultimicron

Effective pixels    960 x RGB x 540 (QHD)
Will it be enough for focusing a manual focus lens without zooming?

thats about 110,000 more pixels, I dont now if it's enough but it's certainly an improvement. More importantly for me at least, the refresh rates are better.

That does not matter in my shooting style. I find myself pressing OK on my E-P1 numerous times before I can both compose a picture and achieve sharp focus. A hi-res EVF would come in handy, that's for sure.

the panny auto magnifies in manual focus or auto+manual focus so I dont have to press anything. Refresh rates are a big thing for me because what you see in the vf is a moment that's already passed, so even if you prefocus the photo itself is not gonna be what you saw.

Images at 3.200 ISO are full of detail (so no heavy noise reduction). He has taken some pictures indoor and he couldn’t see any artifacts (bandings or other noise issues). Even in dark parts the image looks good. Maybe a 1/2 to 1 stop improvement.

E-P1 does too, but with compatible lenses only. Not with legacy lenses.

That's a problem with all SLRs too. Even without AF, the mirror will have to go up, and the shutter to open after it does completely. That's probably 1/10 of a second, but, hey, isn't that approximately the much that the EVF lags? So you will end up with 1/10 because of the lag, 1/4 for your mind to command the hand, and another 1/10 for the shutter to close before it opens again for exposure. Compare that with 1/10 + 1/4 on an SLR camera. I think prediction plays a major role in the two shooting situations. Do you agree?

Sounds good!

sorry about that, it was stupid of me. Maybe an auto zoom for manual lenses would be a solution.

1/10 of a second in good light, once the light dims even a bit that lag jumps to a bit more than 1/2 a second. Which is just ridiculously too much. I guess what I should say is faster refresh rates in low light.

Well, I've been thinking on how to provide a feedback to the camera body when the legacy glass is being moved for focusing, and, well, the part that concerns the prime might be done, but nothing will happen without knowing the m4/3 lens communication protocol.

Maybe a software brightening algorithm kicks in, which is a very stupid approach.
