I would really like to know why the lettering after the "e-" is blurred... If the camera is considered the "OM-D", why would it also have an "e-xx" designation?

Well, the Program dial is a mirrored image of the Orig leak with the label exposed, so, it looks like an OM3-4 more than an OM1-2...   :D
As far as the "OM-D" and mirrored "xxx-E". I think these are added in to confuse us of what label goes where. Or, the "xxx-E" may be in the right place, just mirrored to confuse us.
But, by adding a Mirrored Copy to the left, per-say, this has promise!

I know many grew up without a DSLR or SLR (under 30 crowd  ;)), and are accustomed to an LCD only + ADDED VF (Faux SLR  ;D), So, a REAL SLR style in the size package of an OM3-4 is almost as compact as an E-P3+VF-2. The OM series was not that much bigger than the E-Pens, and offered the brightest and largest VF image of the day, and is better than many DSLRs still.

its looking like something , an elegant design  smart and clean , i truely hope it has the holy trinity available without menu diving , ss f stop and iso

on modern digital those parameter are necessary up front, secondly  i want better mf use and legacy mf use , ricoh and sony has  focus peaking...panny uses it on the video machines [ get a clue  panny!]

olympus will score a big one here if they add  focus peaking , they have already distinguished themselves with outstanding and accurate autofocus  and could teach the much touted fuji a thing or two  about it imho , i pray this sensor has very good dynamic range... alight or absent AA filter  and commendable high iso
at 3200 without depending o heavyhanded noise reduction

im very excited about this camera the fuji pro had me drooling for months now , but it looks like it will have clumsy focusing , insufficent magnification for legacy focusing , no focus peaking [ only a minor sin] , and a top plate with a visually disconcerting  tily on one side with even the ss dial listing out of true a few degrees , it looks like the camera was dropped on to concrete and had the top dented  : i know that is harsh , but compare it to
the exquisite  limited edition black x 100 to see the camera that the pro might have been.

anyway this black olympus is staryting to truely have the beautiful refined  form of the   om 4 imho .....i cant wait to see the whole camera and hear reports on sensor and control set!

If you'll notice the blend that was made of the leaked photos, there's a curve on one side of the bottom of the viewfinder hump, but the other side is angular. Someone tried to explain this in the angle of the photos that were taken, but the top lines still match up, so they are at the same angle, just a different perspective. Unless the first photo has a pop up flash released, which is causing the curved look, which is still unlikely, these can't both be from the same camera.

In one of the earlier leaks the source put a lot of emphasis on the word ONE when talking about the OM-D, I remember thinking it might mean that the OM-D is just ONE of the revelations... a bit far fetched perhaps. It could just as well mean that the model will have "1" in the name.

It's extremely unlikely that they would introduce a brand new series with two models right away. Unless you count chrome and black as two models, of course. Eventually there will be further models, no doubt.

Then what explains the change in the viewfinder hump?

There is no change. It only looks that way because the three images are taken from different angles.

Indeed they were, but the lines on the top still match up, so although it's from different angles, it's not different perspectives. The other photo would reveal a curve too if it was present.

I don't think the hump sticks out that far, in the pics it looks like it's flush with the lens mount. Like on the old OMs, but flatter.

In the second image you can see that it sticks out a fair bit. Maybe a tiny bit less than in my sketch, but definitely not flush with the lens mount.
