Someone got this email recently about their order:

Regarding the following item:
 
Item Number IPCDMCGH2HS - PANASNC GH2HS SLV HYBRID CAMRA W/14-140
 
The manufacturer has notified us that this item has been discontinued 
and is no longer available. Therefore, we are canceling your order.

The Silver version is still advertised on Amazon UK (although not in stock yet)

with the 14-140? it turns out everybody is getting canceling orders emails (and thus loosing their turn) didnt they (panny) learn anything with the GH1?
More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

My suspicion is that this has something to do with the pre-release price and international exchange rates. B&H stopped taking pre-orders too, just about the time the body-only option disappeared. Weird.
