weird christmas shop
« on: December 13, 2011, 08:19:06 PM »
I was looking for something specific to put in the receiving room table, so I got recommended to this place, it turned out to be the weirdest place in the world with a lot of quirky stuff. An acquired taste to say the least, but still, I was baffled to see the stuff i saw. And there wasn't just the very weird Christmas themed stuff, there was all sorts of carnival images, jester dressed virgin mary's, gipsy dressed jesuses, overweight drunk vixens, candy haired angels, surprised faced angels, and just plain weird stuff. All shot with the leica at f1.8 or f2. These are all quite detailed, but you gotta click on them.

More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

OOO, and this is with the new firmware and I gotta say, the yellow casts typical on panasonics high ISO files are gooooone. Some are saying that at the super high ISOs the grain is less even iin RAW files but I cant attest to this. Full area focus selection is fantastic and like some are saying, the colors have improve by quite a bit, especially skin tones

Now if Olympus will do something about the green cast at high ISO in the E-P3.

BTW, nice pics. I particularly like #2  :D
Be nice to each other, life is too short for anything else.

It looks a little bit like a winter version of Disney's 'It's a small world'
