E-P1 & Oly 12mm/f2.0 @ 1/2000 - f2.0 - A-pri AE - ISO 125

The Apple and the Pear everybody know, and are farmed all over the world. Here, in Thailand they are rare, - and most (of good quality) will be imported, - from China mostly.
The Pomegranate er a common fruit here, - and so are the 'Dragon Fruit' (as Thais name it), proper name is 'Sweet Pitaya' [Hylocereus undatus]. Both are delicious!

pomagranate was a novelty and rarely seen fruit when i grew up in the bronx , it was special to get one of these chinese apples
as we knew them and they were much enjoyed

E-P1 with Pana 20mm/f1.7: 1/3200 - f1.7 - ISO 125 - A-pri AE

Just for the sake of comparison, here's the same bowl of fruit once more, - only now with the Pana 20mm/f1.7 at full opening attached to the E-P1. Except for the FOV, not much different. Rendering moreorless same-same, - both with excellent sharpness. These two lenses, add a $400 Olympus μFT 45mm/f1.8, - and top it with the Pana/Leica 45mm/f2.8, and you're the owner of a fabulous set up. (These four mentioned are the top of the shelf lenses the μFT system offers per date).

More sweetness from the 12mm and the 20mm. Nice photos!
