The New York Blues: Chinatown Fair - Faces and Farewell.
« on: March 03, 2011, 02:26:58 PM »
As was semi featured on a famous fighting video game website (www.eventhubs.com), here is a shoot I did at Chinatown Fair, one of the oldest arcades in history (possibly) which recently closed down. It was sort of my second home, it was my getaway from the strenuous world we live in. It's somewhat of a sanctuary. My parents used to go there as children, they took me there as a child, and it was where I broke my social shell and met so many great people of whom I am still great friends with.

They recently lost their lease to their place, but are moving to a new location, but most people do not want to forget it's original spot; though rather dirty and smelly, it was a landmark in our hearts.

Here are faces of people I grew up with, seen for years, known for years ETC within the arcade, Chinatown Fair.

I used to be a competitive gamer for Street Fighter and a few other games. Won a few tournaments as well, but I have two kids now, so that was the past. I still play, just not competitively and not as seriously, but to relive my youth you know, it's still fun to play every now and then!
