I try product shots from time to time, sometimes portraits, although I am not good at either.

I like still life, landscapes, and anything else that will hold still long enough for my E-P1 to lock focus.... But I end up taking lots of "snapshots" of family and friends as I try to document my family growing up.

landscapes and street shooting mainly...

Occasionally, some portrait sessions.

The only thing I don't do is family or party pics...

I mostly do travel photography (this is how I got into photography) and recently I have discovered the joys of street photography, and I love it!, I think I have found my real passion!

Check my flickr where you can see some examples :)

For work I've done some weddings, some dance studio stuff, a few art gallery activities, the occasional sweet 15 or birthday (I hate them) and some product promotion. On the personal side of things I love macro. Lately I've been into the whole wide angle thing, so much I'm kinda considering the 7-14mm. I think the important thing is to give yourself assignments, weekly, monthly, it doesn't matter, you'll never discover what kind of photographer you are or whats your style until you try everything. Flash photography is what next for me...

I do fine art social documentary and forms of photomontage. The documentary work is predominantly in an urban environment and with the various forms of montage i take various elements that are linked, be it political or emotional to create the work. My final show (BA fine art photography) was social documentary. For pay I take portraits.

Landscapes, travel (more landscapes), the office parties and the occassional street photography.
Be nice to each other, life is too short for anything else.

Yes, I find it tough to do street candids without feeling like a stalker....I also don't like to take advantage of homeless people just because I want a shot.......

I told myself that if I ever took a picture of a homeless person, I'd also give them some money.....

i always ask street performers by catching their eye and offering the camera and a smile , after a few shots i always contribute

as for homeless , sometimes it seems they want privacy or are in a bad {worse?] moment so i dont bother them, other times there is a shot beconing and i try to take it clandestinely, i always offer money to the homeless or food  or beverage if i have some

Did a fashion show on the weekend, it was the absolute proof I needed that m4/3 needs faster glass. After two shots I ended up switching to my APS C

Mostly stuff that gets in the way of my camera....

Although I do dwell on buildings too long.

And dry rot.
Some of my snaps are on Flickr

There's but one reason (out of many) as to why I haven't abandoned my DSLR......Right now, I use my Nikon DSLR for special shoots....

Wildlife - my biggest area by far, in part helped by subject availability. Particular areas include birds (in flight) and big cats. This area is where the E-P1 is least useful to me due to its hopeless AF for anything other than large stationary objects.

Nature - more close up than landscape, but I dabble in landscape too.

Macro - mostly live bug macro, occasional static objects. Typical working magnification of up to 2x handheld. Just for fun up to 10x but nothing serious with that yet since it needs so much light. Debating getting motorised rails for focus stacking.

Astrophotography - Done a lot of the moon (aiming for colour quality and detail) and big sky shots. I'm working on deep sky and planetary but my location sucks for light pollution and I'm not motivated enough to get away to somewhere better.

Travel - places, including urban and natural landscapes. Side effect of my many work travels. This is my biggest use for the E-P1.

Still life - Dolls and figures.
Cameras big and small: Sony HX9V, Olympus E-P1, Canon 300D (IR mod), 7D and many others!
