The battle damage thread
« on: December 28, 2011, 03:23:30 PM »
Do your cameras have a lot of battle damage from being thrown around or hit on things? My E-P1 has so many scratches and nicks on it, I bet I will never be able to sell it.

This thread coming from the man who suggested I try "Camera-Toss" photography.... :P

Nice...

You've never tried camera toss? You hold it by the strap during a long exposure and swing it around.

You only hit stuff sometimes too.

My E-P3 looks exactly the same as the day I took it out f the box (well, apart from the added leatherette of course), and my E-P1 just has one tiny little scar; the Play button graphic is partially chipped off. I definitely don't baby my cameras, but I'm not reckless either. I guess the PENs are small enough to be carried on my shoulder all day long without bumping into stuff. My Nikon D90 definitely wasn't, that thing got pretty banged up, but apparently it could take it. The only things that didn't look brand new when I sold it was the lens caps and the LCD protector.
