DIY Tilt-shift

Some shots with no particular meaning - I was just fascinated with the odd
focus plane you can do with tilt-shift gear...

This is the odd "contraption" I made, following the advices here:

(many thanks!)

Crazy looking.
It seems to work better in the first photo. You have to hold the lens and focus at the same time?
Can't wait to see a few more.

You have to hold the lens and focus at the same time?

I put the Aperture totally close and the Focus on infinity.
While holding the lens, you can adjust focus moving the objective closer and farther
from the body - is exactly like "freelensing" but without the chance of light
bleeding into the image (even if that is exactly the effect that some are looking for...).

Another two, now with Aperture at f/4.

As you can see, even with a tripod and seated position, is quite difficult to have a steady
focus position. I have to search for a metod of blocking the lens in place...

That tree in the first post is a great use of this.
