Adobe MAX 2011 - Photoshop Image Deblurring sneak

This looks cool.  I think it removes motion blur, not out of focus blur or noise.

One more excuse for people to get lazy about photography...

Really, it  causes more "editing" time, not less. On top of lazy technique.
Adobe wants you to spend more time in their software, not less...

I suppose in some cases it may work.

I have a bunch of images that could be rescued by this that aside from the motion blur they're amazing
More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

this technology is amazing , and i actually think i understand how it works,,

it seems that any  motion blurred image has a path of that motion blur , its most succinctly  demonstrated when one takes a night shot that has motion blur
consider a typical blurred scene  of 1 or  1\2 sec at night , ;leaned against the tree , squeezed as gently as possible, but sadly the image is blurred the entire image is soft and smeared, but wait look againthe points of light in the backround dont have a mushy ness  ut rather a path that looks like it was drawn with a lazer pen,in fact the whole image, pixel for pixel has about that same path of the blur "signature " now if an algorythm can see the path of the blur , like the path of the point of light then use that line to compress all the points along that line to a single point then what was formerlya smear of light is now a single point of light as it should have been apply the same process to all the pixels in a scene and voila , a sharp photo from a motion blurred one

frickin brilliant

on the other hand, a bad photo is a bad photo no matter how much adobe you put in it...

That is also true, although just because a photo isn't blurry doesn't mean it's not good.

There has been a stand alone program that can sharpen up blurred images (to a point).

It has been out for a few years.
