Oh, that's a good photo, Daniele! Water in the (lower) back of the trees, is it?

Thanks!
Yes, in the back of the trees you can see the biggest river in Italy (PO river) few km north from Ferrara.
Soon a photo of the Castle of the city, in the B&W section ;)

Nice photos, although the moon looks a bit photoshopped. Was it?

The moon, as well as the entire image, went through CS3.  However, that is the actual moon in the actual place it rose that late afternoon.  This is a very big crop, and It appears that my local edits to the moon are flawed...and exaggerated by the crop.

This is nearly the entire frame, but the moon still looks suspicious, but it is a real scene and not a cut-and-paste.  I'll need to re-edit this one, but sorry for the confusion.

Jason,
If you took this image at the 200mm setting (400mm equivalent), the moon would look larger due to the effects rendered by the telephoto lens.  The longer the focal length, the larger the moon will appear relative to the rest of the image.  I really like the photo!

Nice shots...

@lisandra your long exposure shot of the trees and stars looks surreal, I like it.

@pretzston like how you've exploited the diorama filter in the golden roads pic.

Thanks, the trees were lit with a very annoying and out of place lamp post (middle of nowhere, theres not another one for like 6 miles) so I made the best out of it. its a 10 second exposure at f2

The unavoidable Spooky Tree.
Shot with Holga lens for MFT, then converted in b/w.
