*Last photo should be fixed now*

Thanks! These are actually my first posting of pics on here so I really appreciate your kind words! I still got a lot to learn from all the experts on here though. These pics are from my trip in Japan I returned from three days ago. I was there for two weeks but really wish I had more time to shoot.

@device
Now that's good photography of flowers...

@Panther
Lovely detail.. Your off to good start.

@RustedChrome
I love the low angle... Works well with the taller building in the BG.

All great and inspiring photos!

@RustedChrome I really like this shot!  I like the contrast between the two subjects.

@exzrael Nice macro...I'm not good at taking these kinds of shots.

I was going to make this a Film Day, But, no Sun makes for flat negatives with stuff I like photograph, so, I took out my G1 with the fabulas O/14-42ED and headed to photograph Tulips at our Apts main entrance. I was also inspired by the low angle Tulip photo's in this thread by RustyChrome

Enjoy.

Nice - I like the water droplets on the second one especially.

I too went outside briefly and when the breeze stopped blowing these completely out of focus I clicked a few. Funnily enough this one, where the subject in focus(ish) is the bud, turned out the best. Not that it's terribly good technically but the colours blended quite nicely I thought.

For a lens that cost me £35 on ebay (Konica 57mm f1.4) I couldn't be more happy with the results I'm getting - and it feels so old-school and "connected" using the rings.

That photo is really nice. It's cold, yet happy at the same time. Very nicely done there!
