officially staying here with me. A mini Shepard, her name is Leica (as pronounced in spanish: lay-ka). The vet says she has two heart worms and stomach parasites. Also a small skin fungus. He gave me 200$ worth of medication. this is with the 25mm leica by the way, at 1.8. Its surprisingly sharp, click it.

Playing with my new (used) GH1 I got myself for christmas with the OM 50mm f/1.4 wide open. Fairly soft, but I like it.  Its so nice to manual focus though a viewfinder...

Shooting into the sun, so got some fun flare, although I'm not quite sure where the horizontal flare line thingies came from....

I get similar results with my older Canon FL 50mm f/1.4... It can brought back in Post though... I wander if some older coatings just do this? OR, just because it is not a Native lens?
I really don't know..Some of the other adapted lenses I have do just fine with contrast and color rendering... go figure.

Do you have a Sun Shade on it with these photos?

Didn't use a shade on these pics, I kinda like the 'washed out' effect it gives, although I haven't touched it in post, so I might like something else after playing with it.  With the legacy glass having such a large imaging circle compared to the sensor size I think its possible that the sun is actually getting focused inside camera (not just from stray light bouncing around at odd angles in the lens).  So maybe the horizontal lines are a reflection off the rear element of the lens of something really lit up inside the camera.  Coatings are definitely not as good as modern lenses though.

Took some pics with the 20/1.7 too and didn't like them as much because everything was so sharp! hehe

Kat's older son, Jeremy, came over today to visit with Lauren (his fiancee) who is with Child (see my post of the photo I took in another post)...

Anyway, their dog (the smaller one), just a pup, had a great time together (Faith, our dog, The Golden Retriever)

Most I used the flash, but the last few I did not, and let the motion help make the photo.

Click on the image (full-Size, just compressed to fit the 5mp limit)

I like all kinds of animals...pets or wild animals (also being a member of several local organizations)...so I guess.... I need to like dogs too...but I absolutely prefer cats more. So I'm sorry already beforehand...but I just could not avoid of temptation to put one cat photo to this dog thread  :D (still bad quality...bit low contrast & bit soft...mf). Anyway...the cat itself won all 3 international cat shows we took a part here, so not any kind of bad statistic. I just ended that hobby quite quickly because cat clearly stressed a hell of those days.

''Are you trying to picking a fight with our Dogs?  ;) ;D''

Nope...as my cat is very clever & your dogs are much, much bigger  :D

''We do have a Kitty Thread, not sure if THIS Great cat photo is in it....''

Sorry...I did't notice that. Needs to put some better photos there one day.

''BTW, What kind of Cat is this?''

It's a Oriental Shorthair (colour: blue ticked tabby). Fine and rare combination...as the bloodlines comes halfty from States and Europe.
