Going to the dogs
« on: June 07, 2010, 06:07:10 PM »
Lots of members have dogs. Lets make a gallery and hear some stories.

Here is Kai. A 150lb Newfoundland. My wife and I rescued him. He was not abused, but simply ignored by the previous owners--he and his brother were thrown in the backyard for the first three years of their lives. However, he deserves the title as the "gentle giant."

He is also "self-employed." We give him a reward for certain tasks. He started to invent jobs to collect treats.

Oh yes, this was taken with the Panasonic 20mm on an E-P1

I love this thread!

I used to have a golden retriever named Dogger, I named him when I was very little. He died when I was 13 years old, I will always miss him. Thanks for reminding me so that I can go find a photo of him too.

I find it hard to believe that none of our members have any dogs.

Since Musashi is now Finder, I can post another picture of my dog and no one will know.

In the back seat of the car.

I have many pictures of my beloved pooch. How do you upload a photo so that only a thumbnail displays in your post?

You can post it as an attachment. Click the Reply button and under the little plus sign that says Additional Options you can attach your file there.

You can also upload them to the gallery in your own album (or the Other Cameras album) and post the medium sized photos in this thread. Here's the tutorial on how to do it:

Here's a couple of our dog, "Beanie". He has the most "undog-like" expressions sometimes.

That's a neighbor's dog, walking freely with one of her puppies. She saw an open door and they entered my friend's yard.
The puppy was too shy for a picture.

Thanks!  Some of my first tests shots with my PEN, hence the kitchen floor background... they were two of the first photos I took with my fathers old 50mm from his Canon AE1.

Oh I didn't even notice that they were two different photos. Combined they look totally amazing to me, the dividing line looked like just another bar going across. I think the second one has more emotion, but I wish his eye wasn't closed for it.
