You set yourself an ambitious project for the year.  I'm sure that if you persevere you'll see growth in your knowledge and skill level.  Best of luck and we'll look forward to seeing your efforts.  The photo a week or photo a day thing is something from which most of us could benefit doing from but frankly, I'm too unfocused (polite word for lazy).

Thank you for being the first one to start one of these threads! I think I'll probably do one too. Your first photo is excellent, and a quite unique capture. I love it!

Wow that is some really intricate scaffolding. What are they doing to the building?

Great subject RustedChrome - I could spend a week around that building!

Did you get a chance to move in close or is it fenced off?

You can get on the sidewalk right next to it. It's a Federal building next door to the White House so I imagine security is pretty tight if you were to get under the scaffolding or anything.

RustedChrome - please add a health warning next time. I'm not a young man and a gorgeous pic like that is enough to send me to the next world   ::)

Thanks. You had best not look at the other photos of her on my flickr site then. I'd hate to see a memorial thread for you on here.  ;D

Nice! Does this work better than 365 days? I tried one of those once and got burned out almost immediately.

365 days is too much like work. I'm lucky if I have 52 photos I want to show anybody in a year.

I spent this week mostly at home and work thanks to the weather. Snow sure is pretty though.

Thanks! It was taken at Battery Park in New Castle, Delaware. If you click on the photo, there is a map to the right of the pic that shows the exact spot.
