The strange thing is you can't even really tell that it's a panorama. Pretty cool!

Ah, you posted this in critique. I think it needs a bit more contrast. And like I said before, the panoramic effect might not have had the full effect with the current crop.

Take some off the top/bottom? and make it more of a long rectangle?

Maybe a different position would be better...now the fallen tree is too far away and the snow looks like foam...sort of distracting.

Try putting the tree on one side now. Not possible without taking a picture again, though.

It get flooded with water for the Spring through Fall.....
I may be able to stand on or near the bank though.

I like the first one best.  The snow sort of makes you eye travel into the photo.

How deep is it? A pair of good rubber boots might be enough...

Oh not much maybe 3 feet, but there is a wide enough bank typically to stand at an angle and get a picture that way.  During the summer you see kids with their parents wading around in the water.

3 feet won't be much fun with rubber boots....at least I haven't seen such yet.
But from what I can see on the picture I would hardly say it's more than one foot deep....

That's because it is drained for the Winter, I'll have check the next time I'm in that area. It should back to normal "Tide" by know.
The tree trunk might even be under water when the water level is higher for Spring/Summer/Fall.

Despite the 255,255,255 sky, I would like to see more of the trees and remove some of the left part of the scene.

Cheers
