I hope a lot of people who have one find their way to E-P1.net. I can't wait to see what this camera can do!

Me too.... I know it at is on par with the GH2, and at ISO 1600/3200 it may be a tad bit better, but not much. The GH2 should drop in price not to long from now. eBay and other have the body for $900.00, there is going to be a lot NOS if the prices don't drop to clear them out.

I've had one preordered since May so when I get one I'll give my opinion. i had planned on buying a GH2 but made myself wait until the announcement of the G3. I'll be upgrading a 2.5 yr. old G1 and 18 mo. GF1. Since I'm a still shooter this may be fine--ergonomics concern me with size. I satisfied myself that using fn. keys I believe I can shoot as I do now but we'll see. If I'm not happy I'll wait and buy a GH3 or move to another system.

I'm certain you'll love the g3.

The G3 is a tad shorter length wise, and thinner depth wise. And the smaller grip won't be an issue... It is almost the same size as the G1. Almost!....And 98% of the feature set of the GH2 at $300 less.

I have a simliar grip on my Film Contax G1.. not an issue at all holding it.

I just don't know if the USA sales get LR3?.. That is quite a deal! If it is true.

G3 Release date June 17
