Focus speed: G3 with PL 14-50mm

I'm considering picking up a used G3 in the very near future... I was wondering if anyone could comment on the focus speed of the camera when paired with the Panny/Leica 14-50mm 4/3rds lens.  I would like to use the combo to shoot a wedding this summer.

I can't help you with the lens combo, but, the in-camera focus speed is greatly increased in the G3 with native lenses. Similar to the E-P3. It is as fast as many DSLRs.
I would imagine that's 1/2 the solution anyway.
