According to a 4/3 Rumor poll, ........GX with EFV...
« on: November 09, 2011, 06:42:18 AM »
The design of the Panasonic L1 with the EFV at the corner (like most RFs), has a
75% "want" over a 25% "Don't" want, as far having a built-in EFV.

You can see the Leica Influence with the L1 back then..
The camera had a good balance and size, and a "Shutter Speed" dial on the top deck in the normal place. and a  lens with a real "F/stop" ring for a 4/3 mount...

With so much popular "want" for this... I don't think it will detract from G3/GH3 sales....
IF: it is a PRO model with things like a 16mp Sensor w/ratio correction, 1k LCD, 2k EFV, HD Video, High Buffer for 20+ raws at once, 4-6fps, Tilt/Shift LCD, Clean ISO to 3200, and up to 128k ISO that is still very usable,

And, If, Panny is thinking of Weather Proof lenses, than a Weather Proof Body would be in order also....GX7?

and a price that is about $1200 body only.... it would compete with the X100 in IQ and form factor, and the NEX7 with interchangeable lens compatibility...

Just saying, a PRO camera at $1200 is a common price point that has proven successful already.

43rumors makes a great point, people will complain about the price of Panasonic's camera with a built in viewfinder. They can't win.
