yes i read this some days back , thats a bold claim, but as many might know here , im a strong be1iever in the ricoh" way"

my first 2  digital cameras were ricohs an rdc 6000 and an rdc 7i ?  back in the Pleistocene.....  the beautiful gx200 24-72 2.4 -4.4 remains one of my  favorite cameras ever ,.....lately ive been shooting  with the ricoh gxr with a12 mount module [ that's m mount in ricohspeak], [my third gxr module] and lenses from the voigtlander 15mm 4.4 the 28 1.9 and the 50 1.5, it a blast

and reid reviews ,which i recently subscribed to said quite eloquently that the sensor and camera of the mount module  seems to respect the "drawing " of a particular lens , i must say i think  the distinctive character of the lenses are up front  with the ricoh , and that might be because of several factors............ one no AA FILTER ....[HOORAY]. secondly very little if no "cooking" of the images , that is digital "improvements" such as edge sharpening , noise reduction and digital smearing and  other processing  features that make some  digital have a reputation for looking "digital' in a way that film does not , on cheap compacts cooking to "improve" IQ[ AND NOT so cheap cameras too] overcooking can lead to a waxy artificial presence in the files
that set it apart for the more honest[?] files of  scanned film .jmho

i think my ricoh does very little in the way of cooking the image

this could be a killer module ....a full frame leica  m mount with ricoh adding some contacts to that venerable mount for a line of  af lenses , in a similar fashion to the way nikon did with the f mount ...................pre af to post af to digital , ......its time :)
