it will have 16mp apsc sensor ,a new filter array and exr processing and a second gen hybrid vf ,

and launch with 3 primes an 18mm f2 [27mm equiv] ....a 35mm f1.4[ 53mm equiv] and a 60mm f 2.4 [90mm equiv]

im thrilled by this news

thats the price of some bridge camera with am x 10 type sensor

im pretty sure the camera will be 1400-1800 us dollars

€1300 for the body+35mm f/1.4 kit seems more than reasonable. If it focuses quick and is generally more responsive than the X100, there's no way I'm not buying one.

I am guessing, that Fuji may have shared VF tech for their offering.... In my Dream anyway

yes they are, even if they did share vf tech, would you get the oly for 1200$ or the fuji with more than full frame resolution and phase detection AF at 1500$?? (it does have phase detection)

If I had the $$$$, Maybe... But, I would have to sell my G3 and native lenses.... AND get a few Adapters for my MF lenses.... Nikon, M42, and Canon FL/FD for the Fuji
I don't think the Oly will be that much. I am curious as others about the new Oly...

Naaa... I'd look at the GX1 or Oly ??

i hope oly is trying to keep or perhaps exceed fuji in some way they already have a wonderful jpeg engine and blinding fast af i would be happy if fuji i s selling
or otherwise sharing technology with m 43, and vice versa

no matter how good this fuji is im still keeping my m 43 lenses , they are very good , but ill be upgrading to a gx1 or something else based on mostly sensor and resolution from oly

im getting the fuji too , im gonna sell some nikon lenses and my d 80 maybe a gf1 body some other stuff
