Looks much better than the previous NEX contraptions.
Indeed, the small thing that you would need to stick your eye to was clearly a missing feature in E-P3.
Would be a game changer for me if it had it.
And MF Peaking too....
And a bit better sensor.
And a vertical grip.
And.....

No, really, there is a NO position in the power switch! I hadn't noticed that before!

It looks like a standard EVF similar to the Panasonic L1 4/3 camera.

3mp VF  that's double the G3.  :) It must have at least a duel processor and a fast one at that. to keep any flicker or motion smearing down to a minimum.

Well, they obviously misspelled the corresponding "FFO" switch. Must be a Japanese prototype.  ;)

It probably says FFO because the image is a fake.  Looks like a cleaver rendering to me.  It's too slick looking.  Even the grain on the grip is too perfect.

Nex's are ergonomic and aesthetic nightmares. I'm sure they take good pictures but I'd rather wear a brick around my neck.

I think if they made that, or something similar, it would be the first real step towards "DSLR replacement" form factor.

Yeah, looks like the lens is way out of proportion with the camera. I am interested in that VF though and also in its RF-like positioning on the camera. Maybe it's an illusion, but couldn't Olympus have put the same sort of VF in the same position on the E-P3 in the place of the flash? Or is Adash correct when he argued on a different thread that to install a EVF on the Pen would require a design change (which might explain Olympus's reluctance to do it)?

That's not how the nex 7 is gonna look like. If it is they sure managed to knock it out the park. Now if they could only start making lenses... They officially have more bodies than lenses. The 24 mm f1.8 is still to big Sony, keep trying.

But then how are you suppose to use the FFO switch?
