Stick with film, Kodak...

Their CCD sensors are quite good...(Leica & Hasselblad)
Problem is, most affordable cameras use CMOS sensors.....

Their CCD sensors are amazing, they started digital photography.

Problem is that they don't know what to do with themselves.

CCD sensors have poor high ISO proformence, but, the low ISO proformence is outstanding. Many M8/9 users are well aware of going past ISO 640 or 800, will introduce more noise than what they want.

It was't untill CMOS came along that high ISO IQ got progressively better above 1000 or so. But the lower ISO had a different look with CMOS over CCD.

If I were a studio photographer,
I want a Foveon sensor based body or CCD sensor based body....

Leica makes up for the CCD low light performance with STUNNING GLASS  :)

Yes they do indeed.

I wander where Leica will go to for sensors for the M10?
I'd guess, when they run out of current stock, the M10 will be ready to ship... But, with who's sensor?
Will Leica use CMOS sensors in the future?
An "Equity" company... Really?  This will sold off once again, (flipped) .. That is what that company does...
Maybe, to a company that will keep the sensors going.
