Ummmm, the 16 mp is a welcomed thing, but noise is worse than the D3s. It is. with 25 months of sensor improvement, shouldnt have they been able to make a much better one despite the 4 extra million pixels?

That doesnt mean theyre not both insanely clean at ISO 50k

I'm looking at the 100% crops and I am not so impressed. It is difficult to say if there is much improvement over D3s. ISO6400 is indeed clean but 51k....come on!

its not better than the d3s, its a bit worse. im comparing iso 51k to aps c

It's more than a stop better than Pentax K-5, which is my current benchmark for IQ.

They set the bar a little too high for themselves, like Canon usually does.
