Bessa'T' Kit
« on: July 10, 2011, 05:56:54 AM »
This is my Bessa 'T' kit which I intend using soon.
I have built it around Russian lenses I had from a Zorki & A leica 111b ( Now sold)
The body  I have had for some time & not used it since going Digital.
This Site has made me think about giving it a go again.

Film is a game changer for me, it clears my head at times, and makes me [focus] better at times. Then, when I go back to digital, I am refreshed, and the ideas flow. I use film for B&W only, and develop the film. So, my subjects are different than Digital.

Check out our "Film" forum, I have a tutorial for Film Developing and Scanning. For those that want/can give it a try.

BTW, Nice RF kit...The 35mm, 50mm and 90mm are classic Lenses with a great IQ..
The Bessa T, is true street RF with a Meter readout on the top deck.

The kit is great, how do you compare the feeling and handling of Bessa T to Zorki?

No Comparison!  after the Leica 3b  & a Bessa R2 were sold I kept the 'T' for it's retro appeal.

Mind you the R2 was great but I just Like the 'T'.

Hey, granddad, looks good. We have the same camera! You've got some long lenses there--any trouble focusing them? I now the Bessa-T has a good rap for focusing. My longest lens, though, is the VC 35/2.5 classic. I have a Industar 61 L/D but it doesn't screw onto my Leica adapter. That has kind of soured me on Russian lenses, though I am thinking about an Industar 22/3.5.

You had a Leica iiib? How does that compare with the Bessa? What about an M camera--ever shoot one of those?

Are you sure you don't have an M-42 Industar?
Although the proper name for the M-42 lens will be ЛЗ ( З stands for зеркальных, or SLRзеркальных).
