From Steve Huffs site.... Look at replies, there is a link to a lens mount.. Supposed to be the leaked Fuji mount, or an m4/3 mount... But, the mount on the leaked camera looks like an m4/3 mount.. The claw placement, the # of contacts and thier placement.

Leaked Fuji Mount, or M4/3 to compare to the leaked camera?

If it is m4/3... This is a Game changer AND Fujinon lenses added to the Panny and Oly m4/3 lenses  8)  Time will tell...

Remember Oly is releasing a new m4/3 that may have Fuji tech in it also....  very interesting.....

I can't wait!

The mount on the fuji looking camera is not the same as the first photo.  There are more screws for one, and the far end where the red dot is the notch is much smaller.  Plus, the bokeh is super flat implying a larger sensor assuming the same camera type was used to take the shot.  I have no hope for fuji building a m43 camera.  If anyone else does it will be Leica simply rebranding a Panny like they did in the past.

its aps c, oly might do something similar in the vf area but everywhere else dont expect much. As insane as using the same 12 mp sensor might sound, i dont put it above oly...
More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

I would like to see a Russian company get into the 4/3 consortium.  Maybe a Zenit or FED m43.  Hand made by prisoners of the proletariat in Siberia.

A few things...
the screw pattern makes no difference to the claws and mount lock....
BUT, that said, the mount lock is on at 7:O'CLOCK, not 3:O'CLOCK.... That can make a difference
And the Bokoh is PS'd..as is the distorted shape to the body...

L, may be right, but, the overall pattern is VERY similar to a M4/3 mount...
The sensor (what we can see of it), does look like a 3:2 ratio though.

It may be that the Body (modified a bit) with a m4/3  mount may be an Olympus offering. That would not detract from Fuji IMO...Could it be an APS-C Camera that as an accessory M4/3 adapter with FULL Electrical functions, while Fuji develops their lens line.... That would be Brilliant!  You have the few Intro lenses + m4/3 lenses from 8mm to 300 (m4/3)... on a APS-C  12mm-450mm  (35mm = 16mm - 600mm).... So, IF .... this mount can use m4/3 with FULL functionality with a Fuji>m4/3 adpater..... WOW.....

Thinking out loud  :-*

Fuji isn't generally in the business of creating their own lens lineup. With Nikon they modified the old film cameras and the D200 and then made them accept Nikon F lenses. Why wouldn't they be doing this with Micro Four Thirds?

Finally!  Followed the CES' Fuji press conference online a few hours ago. Looks that I lived long enough to enjoy a "Leica M-9", - only it's named FUJI X-PRO 1!  House alone it will probably cost me Baht 50.000 (plus? ≈ US$ 1700), - and the three lenses that will be ready for selling along with the house will be a similar amount of spendings.  That's 3.5+ grand for 'a Leica system' with three primes, - a 18mm[27]/f2.0, a 35mm[53]/f1.4 and a 60mm[90]/f2.4 macro/portrait.  Expensive?, - really I don't believe so.  Compare it w/"Leica - Made in Germany", - house & lenses, - and then figure out.  Yes, the RF focusing is nice, - but it 'takes a while' to 'master' it.  AF focusing, with the possibility to 'go manual' if one wants to, - and with body OIS built in, - I'm better off than with a Leica RF.

Fuji says: "The 16 MP X PRO 1 will outperform (dynamics & resolution) the Canon FF 21MP EOS 5D2", - and goes on: 9 more XF lenses inside 2013, primes & zooms, - 2 of these inside 2012. All lenses with Aperture ring. Comes with a sensor cleaning system, and a hybrid, internal VF that co-operates framing with the 3 above mentioned lenses automatically.  1.4 [1.23?] mill pix LCD. Everything '’Made in Japan' - no Chineese subcontractors set-up, top-notch quality.

Can't wait to get my hands on it  :)  -  but I'll keep my eyes open for the coming mFT houses as well, - need a a more 'powerful' RF-looking house with a ISO-strong sensor.  Hopefully Olympus or Panasonic have the ideas of how to make me happy in that respect.
