Thanks to v04 Firmware & "Peak Focusing", this shot was a breeze in about 2 seconds or less....

I sure hope Olympus/Panasonic come out with something comparible....After personally using "Peak Focusing" I can definitely state with conviction that µ4/3 shooters who use legacy lenses could definitely benefit from this!

Not this time around...
at least the G3 has picture in picture for MF... small picture is the mag view... I think I will like that better than the whole screen being 10x or 14x.

Indeed a great feature. As great as split-image focusing prisms in SLR cameras or as great as the classic RF, but without the additional machinery associated with those.

I am glad to see that manufactures are considering those who really use MF on a regular basis are starting to make it easier to MF.
