You know how hard it is to get depth of field with a sensor that small?

This is an ISO 6400 thread, not a DoF thread... ;)

I think that pentax developers and researchers are no fools. Probably they know what they are doing.

thats totally not true, lol ,i said it looks like a blast ,
personally id love to have it , just as a toy for adults like z gague model railroading  ,my one criticism was the choice not to ue a 1.7\1.6 sensor.... that would have made it a mini camera MUST HAVE 8)
i realize this is an iso thread, but a quick question on crop factor

will a 70 mm 2.8 pentax auto 110  be about a 400[392] mm fov ????
GOING A BIT FURTHER  my nikkor 135 f 3.5 rangefinder lens becomes a 756mm equiv fov????

and ....what the hell............. my 200mm 2.8 fd become , do i have this right ?? 1120mm f 2.8  :o :o :o
i can make an adapter out of a body cap and chewing gum if i have to! and i have .....

DO I HAVE THIS RIGHT ?   the fov thing.....anyone at all?

Interesting theory floating around due to the ISO 6400 shots....
The "Q" sensor is the same size as the sensor in this Sony camera (link below)... so some are speculating it's the same sensor...

The HX-100V sensor is 16MP, whereas the Q is 12MP. Try looking for an older one.
Cameras big and small: Sony HX9V, Olympus E-P1, Canon 300D (IR mod), 7D and many others!

Just a quick question - is ISO6400 available when using all of the senosor resolution, or just 1/2 or 1/4 of it?

Can't they make a proper pancake for this thing? The lens looks as thick as the camera body.
