The bird image was for illustration purposes. It wasn't PP'd much at all. I am not very skilled at PP. This is a macro image taken 4.7 ft away with a Pentax 200 macro at f4. Amazing image size of a fly from that distance. Did more processing on this one.

That's a bit better. At least DOF is perfect for the apparent magnification, although fine detail is not there. Quite suitable for web however.

These are good too....for the size of course.

For birding and hiking the Q seems ideal! I also find it comical to see the naysayers doubting the sensor sizes!

The sensor is great for the bundled prime. When attaching any of the Million legacy lenses, it seems to loose its advantages. That's of course untrue if you're fine with 800x600 final images.
