Those lenses look very interesting, don't you agree?

Great photo of the "system", thanks.  Yes indeed, two new interesting lenses.  On the body in the center, what is in the hotshoe?  I'm ready to pre-order!

That's the Olympus PEN-Pal module. I don't remember what it does.

A Google search reveals photos via Bluetooth.

You don't realize how a system has grown a few short years.
Olympus is releasing faster longer primes that are a sign that m4/3 is now ready to play with the big boys!
And Panasonic is releasing faster Key Zooms, again that are a sign that m4/3 is now ready to play with the big boys!

Both work together to produce a great m4/3 lens system.

The OM-D and GX-1 are just the beginning of next stage in growth IMO

So let me ask a stupid question.  Is the OM-D mirrorless?  I am relatively new to M 4/3 (have owned an E-P2 for a short period of time), but are all Micro 4/3 cameras mirrorless by default?

Yes.  The short flange distance of the mount makes the use of a mirror impossible.

Mama wants...

More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

It may be just a reference for critical work that requires a set magnification.

It seems to be either GPS module or wireless trigger flash?

It's a push/pull focus, like the older style macro lenses (Canon 50mm f/2.5 for example).

I've been thinking, and maybe I wont sell my E-P3 to get the E-M5. The main reason I've been thinking of get an E-M5 is the weather sealing, but I've came to the knowledge that I would maybe only use the camera in rain one time a year, and that's an expensive buy then...

Also I really like my E-P3! I haven't found anything I ain't satisfied with. Maybe that the lens selection has been a bit low before, but now that's also fine.

... and as Lisandras comment says: "More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution..."
Best wishes to you all!
