The camera body is not available in pretty florescent colors.
 ;D
Maybe -if, they were 'fluorescent'--they would!!. But some don't like the 'Color Green on the "On" button--I guess--- they would like the 'Color Purple' in florescent instead of fluorescent.
ChaunceyD

I don't care about the color, the button is just way to bright to use at night when I'm taking star photos, and it draws a lot of attention in a dark room. I keep a piece of black tape stuck to the camera to cover it up.

The Luigi wrist strap has a tab to protect the finish from scratches. I slip the tab between my 1st 2 fingers and then the camera is very nice to operate....

I use a wrist strap too. Mine is a hand-made leather strap from a guy in China and cost all of USD 18.50 including airmail postage to Australia. Cheap, effective, good.
Be nice to each other, life is too short for anything else.

Oh, the body material seems very prone to scratches.

The idea behing the Luigi strap is the TAB. It makes a great comfortable grip. It keeps the strap away from the body and the shutter button.
I'm just sayin'.....

Some background first: I started photography in 1964 with a Praktisix (6x6) and a couple of Zeiss Jena lenses. Then I moved to Contax RTS and quite a few Zeiss lenses, etc. In digital times, the best I had was the 5D with a bunch of L lenses. And you know what? After a month of owning the E-P1 I can say that I have never been so happy with a camera overall. It's a combination of versatility, beauty and results. And yes, I'm not a tourist. :)

I could use a viewfinder, but it would make the camera bigger, so I'll do without it. Same for a more powerful battery. Instead, I would appreciate a smaller focusing area and a kit lens as good as Panasonic's 14-45. The rest can stay as is.

Wait a minute...how do you know I didn't really mean 'florescent'? Like flowery colors? Or paisley-like? Yea, yea, that's it!

There are a lot of recommendations here for wrist straps. Never been a fan of wrist straps, but might give it a try on the e-p1.

I have had the camera only since yesterday. And I have been playing around with it for less than 24 hours..

But so far. I am bothered by the way I have to choose a focusing point. I always have to go through the menu to change it. I know that you can change the settings to use the directional buttons to adjust focus point. But i'd rather have ISO/Af etc. for the buttons. Is there another way to do this faster? If not, i guess it just needs getting used to.

I have not had a focus issue with the Pen.
The center target is locked in and I just wish for a smaller target box.
The G1 on the other hand misses sometimes because of the target box and focusing FASTER.

The size of the AF point doesn't bother me, but the size of the metering point is way too big.  I've tried to spot meter on some bright things in the dark, and I can't get it to accurately meter.  It's always overexposed.

Also, the controls on the back are too easy to accidently activate.  I occasionally find myself shooting in a weird mode (IS3?, ISO 640?) where I know I didn't actually set that value.

Overall, though, the Pen is exactly the small camera I was looking for.  It's fun to shoot, and takes great pictures.
Even bad photography can be fun.

Ok so the Pen has a sense of humour,
the front dial on the G1 is a real nightmare.
With the Pen you can adjust your thumbs location and get used to it, on the G1...forget it....

AEB only increments up to 1 stop.  :(
A 2 stop differential is preferred for those of us that do HDR.
Hope Olympus corrects this with a new firmware

You can solve the power light problem with a tiny tab of gaffers tape over the switch and light. Be sure you use gaffers tape, not something that'll leave a sticky residue behind. The tape's flexible enough that you can work the switch, and it comes off clean.

Pretty much everything - except for the way it looks. It's excellent until it's switched on, when it transpires that it's badly designed for usability. I hate actually using it, but I like it dangling round my neck over my scarf.

Here's a suggestion for a firmware update: I use the 17mm lens with aux viewfinder on the street. I have the Fn button set to kill the backlit LCD. Problem is, if I bump some other button the LCD doesn't stay killed. I've put gaffers tape over the sub dial since it's easy to bump that, but the main dial seems to be the main problem. Often I'll lift the camera to my eye and find that the LCD is illuminating my cheek. I'd love to see a firmware update that would let me really lock the LCD off so it wouldn't respond to any button until I hit Fn a second time. It might be even better as a straight menu item. I'd be willing to bet that anyone using the camera for street photography would agree that this would be a big help.

Disable the four-way button control in the advance menu "B" - BUTTON/DIAL

I like the green light. No built-in flash is fine by me.
I wish it had an external mic plug.
I wish there was a hand strap available.
