1: reliable continuous depth tracking AF with continuous shooting - then it would really enter "DSLR replacment" territory

I think this is here now with the E-P3.  My camera always has tracking enabled, which is totally awesome when used with the touch screen.  The only issue I have now is live view shutter lag.  Tracking won't do you any good when the screen goes blank as you're shooting in sequential mode.

One thing I would like is a new sensor around 20MP with no noticeable noise at ISO 6400.  Yes, I know more MP doesn't necessarily make a better picture, but it does make it easier to cheat, uhm.. I mean crop your images.

1. Better high-ISO;

Agree. In particular a sensor that doesn't give you an image with with more spots than a technicolor acned teenager with long exposures.

How can I shoot with a Nikon D90 for a 5 minute exposure at night and NO long exposure noise reduction and be able to use the image straight from the camera while with ANY Olympus Pen, I get a mult-coloured salt and pepper arrangement at even 15 seconds and no long exposure noise reduction.

Oh, another 2-stops of dynamic range would be nice too and a 3.5" fold out OLED display with an optional clip on folding shade.

A memory card and battery slot that is accessible from the side so you don't have to take the camera off a tripod and remove the quick release plate to change either.

A battery indicator that gives and accurate estimate of the remaining life in minutes like Sony and Nikon (but implemented like Sony have with a live readout rather than going through the menu).

A compact 2.5x zoom from 14 to 35mm with a f/2.8 constant aperture and mechanical manual focus.

Lens hoods as standard with all lenses.
Be nice to each other, life is too short for anything else.
