I am not sure why I have not seen many of these, but when I first got the pen, I bought it I guess a week or two after release in Japan in a local shop where I was staying. It was quite expensive, about $1,100 equivalent, but I got the E-P1 with the VF-1, the 17mm, the 14-42mm... And this:

I got the strap in Bikkukamera (Bic Camera in Tokyo.) The case has those little foam things which you can re-arrange to your liking and stuff. I took these with an iTouch 4 so the pictures quality is pretty blegh.

Sure to become a collectors item in the not so far future...
More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

A very neat case with the main flaw most cases have; telling the world what is inside. The trick is to have an anonymous case that doesn't attract attention at airports etc. When in the back end of the Cairo Souk, or anywhere in Guatemala City for example, you don't scream 'shiny box: camera inside'. When I used to lug a Nikon around, the strap had no bright yellow 'NIKON'  on it but had just a plain black strap,  I covered any logos/names with black plastic electrical tape. The camera wasn't glamorous but had the advantage of not being noticed taking candids. Even better now with the E-P2 a lot smaller and with the retro style it looks like any point and shoot, and not worth snatching. I'm not a paranoid backpacker and will try anything, but it is as well not to court attention sometimes. I guess i'm not into Bling but have aquired a rather nice light tan half case. Hmmmm. I kid myself it looks even more retro. ???  Regards.

its more a case as botique item , i saw it in the flesh once

and it seems like a case for giant jeweleryrather than day to day transport

its just a cool thing to have  and collectable in the extreme
i share your experences with my ep1 people dont even realize its digital
it gives the impression of being a 1970`s fixed lens compact rangefinder from a distance ;)
