I think that would be confusing to the consumer though having numbers so close to each other like that.

Actually, does it follow that all Olympus micro-four/thirds cameras will automatically be classified as a "Pen"?

back in ye olde days ... when Olympus had OM-1 and OM-10, that might hint at E-P1, E-P10 naming.

mmm, a smaller, plastic body - I was wondering what to do with my 17mm since my two Voigtländer lenses arrived  ::)

PS - the original Olympus OM-1 was actually named M-1, but the people that make stupidly priced cameras whinged about it

If it’s just a smaller version of the E-P1, they could just append the “s” designator on the end and call it the Pen1s.

They are saying it is the EP-L1, and it has a flash, and the new feature is a diorama mode.
