I just updated to UFRaw version 0.16 and it works with EP-1 .ORF files. Now you can use GIMP on the RAW files and have fun for free.

I am using Gimp on my macbook (running Tiger)
How can update my old ufraw 0.15 to 0.16?

I don't use a mac, but http://ufraw.sourceforge.net/Install.html has some links where to download for mac, and build instructions. If you can't build it yourself, maybe email Darwin Ports or Mac Ports and ask if they can build it. They probably haven't had a request to update their builds yet.
