I did a quick search but couldn't find an answer. I have an E-PL1 and i am looking at adapters for it, are all Micro 4/3 adapters the same on the camera end. Meaning the bit that connects to the body, is it the same for any Olympus m4/3 adapter or do i need body specific one. I know the bit the lens goes into will vary between lenses but am unsure on the other end.

All m4/3 have the same mount. On ebay you find all possible adapters. The cheap chinese ones are in most cases sufficient. Prices between 20 -40euros.

adapters allow fast cheap portrait lenses out of the plentiful 50 mm lenses of decades past i have many each with a distinct optical "personality "

personally i like konicas voigtlanders and contaxs but any one works fine
