If the new digital PENS have incorporated the XZ-1 noise reduction routines (or something similar)... Then shooting in RAW will be a necessity at ISO 400 (800 depending upon preference) or higher due to the NR smearing that occurs....(This is why I shoot in RAW with my XZ-1)
On my E-P1 I have the noise filter permanently set to LOW, which I think is a good compromise between noise removal and detail retention.
Tough to say....I don't take my E-PL2 past 1600 even with NR off & in RAW....
You guys are way ahead of me. I can't even find it on my E-P1.

Is that just for JPEG or RAW too (dark frame subtraction I'm assuming)?
