Back in 1970/71 when Rolls, went into Bankruptcy... down to $0.25 a share before GE bought it... I asked my Dad to buy me $200 worth (800 shares).... He was too afraid...

within 3 months, it was up to almost $4.00 a share.  (4.00 x 800 = $3,200 for a $200. investment, a $2,800. return in 3 months  )

I should have purchased Olympus stock.....

I'm not sure which sticker I would like on my camera best.  A red Leica sticker or a blue Zeiss sticker?  I think Leica has more money to make a successful buyout than Zeiss.  It sort of makes sense for Leica to purchase Olympus to round out their medical optics portfolio, and then keep Oly cameras around as their consumer grade brand. 

The timing. There could be a lot of reasons to tie up an M&A before the end of the calendar year.

This tells me absolutley nothing....
