More megapixels don't necessarily mean more resolution...

There's something wrong with the color in the first one.

It's obviously this reviewer is ecstatic about the E-P3 & he does a good job of explaining & showing the major improvements in the E-P3..... :)

previous panny sensors gave out this ridiculous magenta cast at higher ISOs (these are ISO 6400), regardless of what you did to white balance. Theres some banding on the first one too, the second one has no cast, better color rendition, less noise and a bit more detail. Its not outstanding but the change is considerable, the first photo is useless, the second one is actually very usable.

I dont know why bother... who is taking pictures using ISO 6400??
I have Canon EOS and its rare that I go up to ISO 800 or 1000..
All type of camera will show grains in high ISO

I think his sample looks a bit weird on both cameras, but you're right. The E-P3 sample is much better.

The E-P3 is a great cam and has a lot of improvements. Like autofocus speed and better screen. But for me the IQ is not much better than the first generation and doesnt justify the upgrade of 700 dollars . Personal opinion.
For newcommers and people who need that fast autofocus,  it is a great cam !

I think olympus did a great job ! Everything we have asked for is there.
Hope the E-P4 will concentrate more on image quality. We are a few years later after all.
