Great stuff. (thnx cosinaphile I think you first started this?)
I thus far found an 18, 24 and 50 mm myself. Also sent the gentleman on ebay an email asking him to lower his price, I would really like a proper adapter for these.

Check this out: http://www.pentax110.co.uk great site.

thanks for the link , im considering getting as proper adapter as well,i dont want to gunk up the 70 or 20-40 zoom with glue if i find them , ill either make an adapter with a 110 lens mount or look into buying the adapter that chronoguy found at a reduced price

I made an adapter by modifying an RJ M39 adapter. I also got around the no aperture adjustment by using the age old system of slide in apertures.

Here are a few examples showing just how good these lenses are the 18mm lens wide open

the same lens stopped down to around f9 (with an aperture of 2mm)

More on my Flickr site including some shots of the adapter here;-

why not post a 3 or 4[up to 5] mp pic of the 18 lens in action in the gallery where they can be examened , enlarged

Once again, if we all continue to ask the ebay seller to lower his price, he will get the message. I'd like to pay $50-60 for a 110 adapter.

Well, I emailed him but got no answer. Got impatient (I use my Pen a lot, personal and professional) so I just went ahead and ordered it (and the C-mount adapter also). I guess it should be here in a week or two, I'll post some pictures when it arrives.

By the way: we can go even smaller: http://43rumors.com/the-m43-pancakes-are-not-tiny-enough-get-this/

Or he might think that the increased demand for his product warrants a price rise ;)

Let me see if I have an extra one. I got a bunch of stuff including all kinds of crazy filters. Still haven't looked through them all.

The adapter from Hawk's Factory came in and I've had some time to play around with it. Although expensive, it is very well made and the lenses fit perfectly. I absolutely love this combination, it is so small! These lenses literally fit in your pocket.
The images are a bit soft, but when taking black&white pictures as I mostly do with these I actually like the 'oldschool look' they give. I mainly use the 18 and 50mm, they are incredibly sharp and the bokeh is lovely. I have the solligor 1.7 tele converter coming which i will use for it's aperture of f8, essentially stopping them down.
The range of 'close up lenses' (see http://www.pentax110.co.uk/html/filters.html) for these is also very nice, and all this stuff can be found for a few dollars on ebay. The possibilities this camera gives us; I just love it.
Here are some samples:

The E-P1 with the 18mm mounted and the 24 and 50mm besides it.

So small!

18/2.8

24/2.8

50/2.8

50/2.8 100% crop

Njoy!

love the shots you took, how very nice , seeing the pentax lenses in action is so great , i too love what the micro four thirds mount offers in terms of giving new life to legacy lenses in the digital age

think of the thousands of wonderful lenses from nikon   ,pentax,    canon,    konica\minolta\sony,   olympus ,   ,leica ,etc
rescued from oblivion................
35 mm lenses , c mount tv lenses , aps-c lenses, pentax 110 lenses,  1\2 frame lenses,   medium format lenses and on and on .....

custom mount lenses for almost any lens ever created, the possibilities are endless

and when the manufacterers finally wake up and make some really decent autofocus primes  and wide zooms and fast zooms and goodness knows what else .... phew!!

the possibilities boggle the mind , personally i hope voigtlander makes a prime for 4\3 that
is 24 f 2 or 24 f1.4  but nice and compact for the smaller image circle or olympus make a af lens with old school mf ability  instead of the poor "autofocus by wire" the makers are cheating us with

im not a fan of the "look' of the hawk adapter ,it too plain and the size seems a bit large diameter wise even a lens cap by virtue of its design seems more aesthetically pleasing , imho

although i understand the quality and finish of the hawk adapter  is impeccible.

latest modification project ? took the lens out of a canon 110 ed camera , the machine is a true 110 rangefinder with a coupled rangefinder and focus slider !

its specs are 26mm f 2.0 diaphram was not intigrated into the lens b ut was in the shutter asembly and it focuses thru a slider tab above that pressed against a spring to change focus!
since the sliders for focus and f stops were spread so far across the top plate of the camera they didnt make it into the lens cap, the entire lens is  about the size of a mini marshmallow
right now ive compression fit it into a lens cap hole with some black electrical tape to give tightness
and focus by pushing and pulling just to see if the lens is any good , .......wow it is sharp and pretty fast too. i need to find a way to focus , some threaded tube and a way to stop down to 4 and f 11  at least... two slower stops would be enuf

the size of 110 lenses astounds me  this one is 26 f2  and 1\8 the size of the 17 2.8 kit prime and a stop faster

The 24mm Pentax 110 lens has 25,5mm filter threads.
Take two 25,5mm filters, knock out the glass/plastic. The thread is almost the same as C-mount. Screw one of the filters in the adapter, shave the other down a bit and glue it to the lens. It is now almost a C-mount lens.
The amount of shaving determines infinity focus.
Now I need to get some rear caps!

A few weeks ago I got myself the 18 and 24mm lenses. The 24 came with a filter. The 25,5mm filter threads match the C-mount thread just enough to use it as mount! So I got some more filters to shave down to accomodate infinity focus and glue them to the lenses. Now I have the zoom coming. Can't wait!

how nice, right now im adapting a minolta auto 110 zoom lens from a minolta 110 slr camera from the 1970s
it was not interchangable lens , so some diassembly was needed to get the lens out
its a 25-50 mm F4.5 constant it even has a setting on the ring that when pressed in swings a magnifier to allow macro use!, its nice and small too , the adaption process is more complicated and difficult than for the pentax or canon 110 lenses

The zoom is a very compact lens. Huge on the Pentax 110 cameras I'm sure, but compact on bigger cameras. It's standing in front of me, with a cut-off 39mm mount glued onto it. I had to sand the mount down to about 0,6mm of 'flange' remaining. That gives me infinity focus. f2,8 is quite fast for a zoom, even as limited a zoom like this one.
I have a Minolta hood on it, made for the 45mm MD lens. So I've got a screwmount zoom lens!

It is a very nice lens. It does need a bigger mount than the original supersmall flanges though. The 39mm screw fits very well. I want to make some way of aperture though. Maybe if I can get an original rear cap I can cut out a small rectangle. Do you know the outside diameter of those caps?

your best bet is to get a piece of smooth black rubber or a washer that you can compression fit into the space behind the lens, test fit it and mark it as centered as you can manage and then drill a hole smaller that the size of the rear element, drill as straight and as cleanly as you can and sand it with fine sandpaper [400 or more grit] to remove burrs on the edge and provide as clean a hole as possible

to determine the f stop you created  use a  blank wall with fixed illuminiation and using your washer stop down
disk note the cameras choice for  speed at a given iso , say 200  do the same without the washer and note speed at a given illumiunation and iso , take note and compare

with a fast lens  stop the fast lens down when aimed at the same target and note when the f stop gives the same illumination as what you got earlier, this gives some idea of the f stop you created

if your lucky  youll make a f 5.6 to f 8 stop and then make a smaller one still that hopefully will be about 11 , 16 or 22

i find that two disks suffice to make the lens very practical in use , but i almost always use 110 lenses wide open and drop to iso 100 occasionally

I think the size of the lens is almost comical on the E-P1.

Well, I'd love to show some pics, but I can't get them uploaded. How can I upload photos without having them on some website first?
The lens - with my Minolta 45/2 hood - is as long as the Panny 14-45 without hood, but a bit slimmer. filter size is 49mm.
