Panasonic Lumix G 45mm f/2.8 MACRO Lens Samples-
« on: November 21, 2009, 01:34:57 PM »
The Olympus 50mm f/2 is fabulous prime lens, but it is just too slow to AF for moments in motion.  The 45mm fills in the gap very nicely.

Getting ready ...

Go !

Slowing down ...

Hi sannin,
You have posted some great picrtures at http://e-p1.net/index.php?topic=915. But "photofilma.com" is not reachable. Do your have a flickr or personal home page where you share your photos?

Just curious - has anyone tried the Panasonic 45/2.8 on the E-P1 after the recent update that alleged to speed up the auto focus?  This lens looks perfect for some of the work I do and I'm very curious how well it works on the E-P1.
By the way, there are some wonderful images on this thread taken with this lens.

Very crisp and clear! The pigeon is gorgeous! Is it very cold in Russia now?
@PiterM: Congratulations on your new purchase too!

Not too cold, about -10 Celsius.

To PiterM:
Good knife, I have S90V version.
BTW, my today purchase, shot taken by 45 mm f2.8, surely :)

A sample photo of my two itsy-bitsy sisters, Nong Panny in white, and Nong Leica in black.  They're both happy to be sisters, but as a parent, I also know, - and appreciate their personal differences.  They are both equally much loved, - and have just told me they well never ever really grow up!

Photo of the sisters taken with a Leica/Panasonic DG Macro-Elmarit 45mm/f2.8 ASPH coupled to an Oly's E-P.  f8.0 - ISO 200.

Yes.

(but of course, there’s nothing stopping you from using it for other work too).
