Phase detect AF explained

For those of you who might be wondering what all the fuss over phase-detect AF is about, here's a pretty good simplified explanation from DPReview:

Though Fuji is not a market leader, they do have very clever engineers. It will be exciting to see this technology enter m4/3 eventually. The article also answers my question why contract-detect AF is still required for low light.

Let's just hope that it actually does enter Micro Four Thirds eventually.
